Who we are
BouwNB builds booking websites for B&Bs. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: [KvK number]. Registered address: [address]. For anything privacy-related, email info@bouwnb.nl; there's simply a person behind it.
The contact form
If you fill in the contact form, we ask for your name, your email address, optionally your B&B's name, and your message. It arrives as an email in our own inbox and is not stored in a database. We keep the email as long as the conversation runs, and your address never ends up on a mailing list.
Analytics, only with your yes
We'd like to know which pages get read and which buttons work. For that we use Google Analytics, but only if you allow it through the cookie notice. If you say nothing or click "Rather not", nothing loads at all; no cookie, no request to Google.
If you say yes, Google Analytics measures visited pages, clicks on our buttons and the language switch. We've set retention to the minimum of two months, advertising features are off, and nothing is linked to ad networks. Google processes this data partly in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. How Google itself handles data is described in Google's own privacy policy.
The B&B websites we build
The websites bouwnb builds and hosts for B&Bs fall outside this story, in the good way: they run no analytics or tracking at all, and guest data is erased two weeks after checkout. Data of owners with an account is handled under the agreements that come with that account.
Your rights
You may request what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to what we do with it. Email info@bouwnb.nl and we'll sort it out. If we can't work it out together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. Significant changes get called out on the site itself.
